| Watt Wake Stars report
Last Saturday, exactly a week after the great competition on Munich I took part at the Watt Wakestars contest to have fun. I was riding my home cable in extremely hot weather. some of the riders arrived following a very "busy" night at Balato Sound, some were stuck in the highway jam, but filally all have made it to the cable so we could start the runs. There were four categories to enter. We were grouped to three groups each having 45 minutes to present the best obstacle tricks. Fortunately the forecasrted storm finally did not arrive, so all the riders had ideal conditions. At 4 PM we were only waiting for the results and the ceremony, that I almost missed. I was talking to somebody outside the jetty when I heard Oszkár calling my name and all the riders were on the jetty. So I hurried there, grabbed my board not to miss my cheuqe. The others were better informed, so did not have to wait for anybody else but me. Even that the best kicker, A-frame and overall title went to the same rider: Laca PAPP was very satisfied with his performance. So a big up to him and of course to all the participating riders, and as Bodza would say: Only WATT!!! |
