| Your Choice in Sports
At this year's Budapest event of Your Choice in Sports we had the opportunity to introduce wakeboard [as you could already read about] thanks to the organizers, and Felix Promotion. With the cooperation of Gaboard Winch and the Rebel Icons team of course we could show what this sport iis about in real life not only on films and videos. On friday I hurried to the location at Maglódi út right after my classes ended where I was surprised by the crowd. Lots of people were interested in our sport as well, which inspired us a lot in riding in the 30 meter long pool built specially for this event. We had to tell a thousand times at least the same about wakeboard, how we got involved in this sport and showed our gear, the trampoline with Guru Board ans also Ino boarding to the people. This was quite a tough task after a few hours spent in the sun... On Saturday the team of heroes from Friday [Klaudia Nagy, Levi Nagy, Áron Paládi-Kovács, and of course the Rebel Icon himself: Mr Laca Papp] were joined by Norbi Zódor and Beni Kis for a few rouds of winching and to promote wakeboard, Beni has brought his wakeskate to our surprise. So it can easily happen that someone shall start wakeskating motivated by the event. Personally I had a great time in these two days, as I could try a lots of interesting sports as well: thanks to Barbi Szabó [Kisz Szabó's sis] I rode the quad, Klau and me got familiar with the bases of Kung-Fu and I even tried the bullwhip.
