OMSZK report
On Saturday despite the wind and the sad accident on the previous day [a guy has drowned in the lake] the Hungarian cable wakeboard riders have gathered at OMSZK Wake Centum for the second stop of the DC Hungarian Wakeboard and Wakeskate Cup.
For the start of the qualifications it was really badly windy. At least we could reorganize our runs in time. as Levi Nagy, our regular speaker was missing we could hardly realize that the runs have started, but when I saw the second Boys rider performing 360's and 540's I knew that the show was already on. After a while Laca Papp has taken the microphone and became the speaker of the event miost of the time. When he was busy with his heats and runs the most various people tried themselves as speakers. I have joined them for about a minute or so.
I don't think I shall be the speaker of our events from now on...
The waves disturbed more or less everybody although there were a few riders who performed their runs as if it was mirror flat. the best of them was Beni Kis, who actually won his category. Bence Bodnár had a light concussion from a monding crash so he passed the finals and Szebi Szoláth did not participate either.
So in Open Men the results were quite different from the previous Cup spot's ones while in the other categories the results were as expected. though it is not such a compliment to us for the first sight, I believe it is a real challenge to perform either trhe stable or event the new tricks on very different cables under very different conditions from one stop and spot to another.

Finally congratulations to the riders and organizers and a big up to my sponsors!
See you behind the boat neyt time!
