Jetlake results
Between Wednesday and Sunday last week it was Austria time again. This time we were at Jetlake in Feldkirchen for the final of the Austrian Natinals and the tele.ring Austria Cup on Saturday.
After the long journes on Wednesday it was not the ride of my life, so i just got familiar with the cable (once again, as I have spent a week at Fetzy's training camp last year here).
On Thursday I almost had my runs ready and after the training on Frday I left the water with three stable runs early in the afternoon. After getting dressed and a bit of driving we even had time to visit Hangar Sieben in Salzburg which is really an exciting place. My broher Benedek hardly wanted to leave thanks to all the wonderful machines with wins and wheels, and of course the delicious ice cream...
Still on Thursday the other members of Team Hungary have arrived. We participated at the event with a very promissing team: Kinga Horváth, Klau Nagy, Laca Papp and Levi Nagy.
On Saturday the day of the competition we arrived at the cable already at 8 AM, and after a short while I started first to complete my runs once again. I managed to qualify second behind the "Hungarian wakeboard legend", Kinga as Kevin said.
It was all perfect for the finals and I presented two very confident runs. Here it was not necessary to guess about either the winner or my place. Kinga was clearly the best, and I got Silver. Lisa Turba got Bronze and so she became Austrian Champion also.
Thanks to tele.ring in the Open categories the overall results of the Austria Cup were also declared. I was delighted to win the Cup (with two victories and one Silver position)!
I feel that I won the cup with a steady performance. I shall surely return to the Austrian events next year if I can.
