Season opening at Hip-Notics

We did not open this season at any of Hungary's 10 degree waters - hope not only this year... All of the family packed their stuff and took off for Hip-Notics for the first ride of the season under better conditions. To our greatest surprise we found out that Matte, akos Hegedus and Kinga were already one day ahead us so there was a nice number of riders representign the Hungarian community.

The conditions were really almost perfect, except for the low water levels especially in the larger lake, but apart from this smallinconvenience everything was just perfect. My first few days passed by getting used to the water and my board again and after the real work started, as my real goal was to train as much as I could for this year's WWA Worlds at the spot. So I really tried to use every minute of our staying for training.

During my visit at Hip-Notics last October I already get acquainted with the obstacles, so the only news was the recently built King Rail which I discovered pretty soon. My main homework was to have new inverts. The 2.0s helped me a lot practicing these new tricks, and I took the chance and spent a lot of time practicing.

While I was busy training my little brother Benedek also took the courage to try the hydro and completed his longest ever ride of five and a half rounds on the waterski cable!!! The entire family is very proud of him now!!

Time flies fast in good company and at such a fine place, so after almost two weeks of staying we had to return to Hungary.

All in one my season started very good this year... thanks to all who made it possible! I hope that I shall return to Hip Notics this season for the Worlds. Until then I shall train hard!!

See you there or at any other cable!
